Homemade rail for Advantage Arms 22LR conversion

The Advantage Arms 22lr conversion kit comes in two models, you get to choose to have a rail or iron sights, but no both.  While the top of the slide is fixed, it’s easy to add your own rail for mounting your own scopes.  So here we go!

Time to put the milling machine to use

I’m making a small dovetail mount, could make a weaver mount but it would be so big that it’ll interfere with the iron sights.

Finished mount, nice and tiny

The mount screwed on the fixed slide.  Had to cut my own bolt to fit right.

Now I can mount my scope on top, will probably have a red dot scope later.
